Canada Post Strike — What You Need to Know
Since November 2024, Canada Post has been in negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW). This conflict led to a national strike from November 2024 until January 2025, which already took everyone by surprise.
In the spring of 2025, a partial strike was triggered, causing potential delays, but it was finally suspended on June 18, 2025. Services resumed, and we decided to reintegrate Canada Post into our shipping options.
However, on September 25, 2025, without any notice, CUPW once again launched a nationwide strike following a government announcement about reforming Canada Post. This decision, taken without warning, has severely impacted both businesses and individuals.
Immediate Consequences
- Hundreds of parcels already entrusted to Canada Post are currently stuck in their network.
- These parcels will be delivered once the strike ends, but in the meantime, no shipments are moving forward.
- This situation is completely out of our control, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
